Challenge: A space company required an actuator that was extremely lightweight, short in length, heavy-duty in load, and high speed.
Solution: Motion Solutions provided a Special EDM process that removes weight in the steel rails, special gearbox, and motor combination that has the pinion gear directly on the motor shaft.
Result: Our team of engineers was able to design, build and deliver the actuator per the customer’s’ requirements.
